THAT Public Works Report PW 2025-39, Drinking Water System Financial Plan #241-301A be hereby received for information; and FURTHER THAT Ontario Regulation 453/07 under the Safe Drinking Water Act, 2002 requires that municipalities prepare and approve a Financial Plan for their drinking water systems as part of the Municipal Drinking Water License renewal process; and FURTHER THAT the Township of Chatsworth has retained the Ontario Clean Water Agency to prepare the Water Financial Plan for its drinking water systems in accordance with the regulation; and FURTHER THAT the Financial Plan must be submitted to the Ministry of the Environment, Conservation and Parks (MECP) and the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing (MMAH), and made available to the public.
