Council Meeting

THAT Township of Chatsworth Council adopt the Agenda as circulated.

THAT the following by-laws be introduced and taken as read a first and second time, and that they be given consideration in Committee of the Whole: By-law Number 2023-33 being a By-law to amend Zoning By-law No. 2015-61, being entitled the Township of Chatsworth Comprehensive Zoning By-law, (Part Lot 20, Concession 3, Geographic Township of Sullivan, Township of Chatsworth, 235840 Concession 2B, File #Z04/2023)

THAT Council now go into Committee of the Whole.

THAT Parks and Recreation Report 2023-09 Keady Community Centre Refrigeration Upgrades be hereby received for information; and FURTHER THAT the Committee of the Whole recommends to council that the quote from S.C.S. solutions in the amount of 31,391.00 inclusive of H.S.T. be accepted; and FURTHER THAT the upgrades be completed by September 15, 2023; and FURTHER THAT the cost be allocated to the Recreation Reserve Fund (GL 01-0100-2512).

THAT Public Works Report 2023-26 be hereby received for information; and FURTHER THAT, Staff recommends to Committee of the Whole, the placement of One Stop sign at the exit of the Boat launch at McCullough Lake at the intersection of Sideroad 7 and McCullough Lake Drive to eliminate the confusion of cross traffic at this location.

THAT Finance Report 2023-03 regarding the Asset Management Update and Asset Management Request be herby received; and FURTHER THAT Council authorizes the use of up to $30,000 of funds to update and advance the Asset Management work at the Township; and FURTHER THAT the costs be allocated to the General Working Capital Reserve (01-0100-2501).

THAT the following By-law(s) be

THAT the actions taken in Committee of the Whole today be confirmed by this Council; and FURTHER THAT staff be authorized to take the actions necessary to give effect to the approved recommendations contained within the staff reports; and FURTHER THAT by-laws under consideration be presented to Council for third reading.

THAT the minutes of the Council Meeting held on June 7, 2023 and the Planning Minutes dated June 7, 2023 be confirmed as recorded.

THAT the Consent Agenda items be hereby received for information.

THAT Fire Chief’s Report 2023-06 dated June 21, 2023, regarding the May 2023 Fire Department Activity Report be hereby received for information.

THAT Finance Report 2023-03 regarding the Asset Management Update and Asset Management Request be herby received; and Page 3 of 6 Township of Chatsworth Council Minutes, June 21, 2023 FURTHER THAT Council authorizes the use of up to $30,000 of funds to update and advance the Asset Management work at the Township; and FURTHER THAT the costs be allocated to the General Working Capital Reserve (01-0100-2501).

THAT CAO Clerk’s Report 2023-34 regarding a request from Chatsworth Community Outreach be hereby received for information.

THAT Committee of the Whole receive the bag tag donation request from the Chatsworth Community Outreach Foodbank for information.

THAT Committee of the Whole rise as Council to report and confirm the actions taken in Committee of the Whole.

THAT the following by-laws be taken as read a third time, signed by the Mayor and Clerk and sealed with the Corporate Seal:  By-law Number 2023-33 being a By-law to amend Zoning By-law No. 2015-61, being entitled the Township of Chatsworth Comprehensive Zoning By-law, (Part Lot 20, Concession 3, Geographic Township of Sullivan, Township of Chatsworth, 235840 Concession 2B, File #Z04/2023)

THAT By-law 2023-34 being a by-law to confirm all actions and proceedings of the June 21, 2023 Council meeting be hereby read a first, second, and third time, signed by the Mayor and Clerk and sealed with the Corporate Seal.
